Honda CBR 150R to hit Indian roads in March | price reviews photos

Good news for bike enthusiasts and news to worry for Bajaj Auto! Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) is all set to launch its new sports bike CBR 150R next month.

According to a business daily, the CBR 150R of the Japanese subsidiary to be launched in March is priced at about Rs 115,000, pitting it directly against Bajaj’s KTM Duke 200 priced Rs 117,000.

Only last month Bajaj Auto had launched the Austrian-brand street bike KTM Duke 200.

The cool bike CBR 150R is Honda’s third new offering this year. The mean machine is powered by engine of around 150cc and it looks like a downsized clone of CBR 250R.
 
        Accod. to onscar  the CBR 150R shares most body panels with its bigger brother, the CBR 250R and will wear disc brakes at the front and the rear, mono-suspension, wide front and rear tubeless tyres. It will also feature an advance O2 sensor and air inductor to reduce the emissions. Powering the new 150R is a light and company DOHC engine that produces 18PS of max power at 10,500rpm and 12.6Nm of max torque. The bike has a twin tubular frame which increases stability. The engine is liquid cooled and has fuel injection.

Reportedly, the company expects a sale of more than 3,500 units in a month after it is launched.
