Intex launches its first Android tablet, the i-Tab in india, with an 8-inch Display for Rs 11,900 ,features reviews and specs.

Marking the company’s entry into the tablet sector, the Intex iTab was recently announced for prospective users in India. Based on the Android OS, the device is expected to fulfill basic computer or PC related tasks for those often caught working on the fly.

Equipped with an 8-inch capacitive two-point touchscreen, the slate operates on the Gingerbread platform. It has been embedded with a 1GHz A8 Cortex processor as well as 512MB of DDR3 RAM.The Intex i-Tab has an inbuilt memory of 8GB which is expandable up to 32GB and its 5000 mAh battery gives it a back up of 5-6 hours. It comes pre-loaded with various Office applications such as Word, Excel, Power Point viewer and a few gaming applications like Angry Birds, Solitaire, Talking Tom etc. Other tech specs include a USB port, 3.5mm audio jack, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and inbuilt GPS. Intex will expand its tablet portfolio in the coming with 7-inch and 10-inch models.

While it will be a one-stop shop for young urban professionals on move, it will also fulfill ever evolving professional and personal needs of youths in mid tier cities. Drawing its juice from a 5000mAh battery, the device is said to survive a work time duration of approximately five to six hours. As an introductory offer, the tab will ship with freebies as well. The package is set to include a LAN adapter, an Intex 3G data card, a pair of Reebok sunglasses and a leather cover.

The Intex iTab price in India is revealed to be Rs. 11,900. It can be picked up through several Intex stores across the country or at select retail outlets.

Intex Avatar 3D dual SIM touch mobile phone comes to India

Intex Technologies has announced the launch of their new mobile phone, the Avatar, which is a 3D touch phone. This mobile phone offers users the choice of converting 2D images and video content into 3D with the touch of a button and also the other way round.

A pair of 3D glasses have been provided, free of cost with this phone for consumers to unravel a new world of stronger visual experience and better imagery. The phone allows consumers to store and watch videos at the rate of 30 frames per second. One can also view 10 pre-loaded films available in the 4 gigs multimedia card, which comes for free with the phone. Avatar is priced at Rs. 3,690 and the phone is targeted at entertainment enthusiasts who are price conscious as well. It is a dual SIM phone with a 2.8-inch screen, all packaged in a handy candybar form factor.

The phone has an array of interesting features. In-built games like Crazy Birds, Fruit Ninja, Pentachess, Call of Atlantis, Yumsters and an enhanced experience of accessing social networking sites, such as Google, Yahoo and Facebook are already pre- installed.

The Intex Avatar is priced at Rs.3,690 and is available across more than 15,000 distributors and reseller outlets, at 70 Intex squares (exclusive retail stores) and several hypermarkets across the country.
