Sony's Android Smart Watch: Touch screen on your wrist

Sony gets points for originality SmartWatch not (like has often been seen), but does quite well the thing is basically a touch screen with Bluetooth, already made.

Priced at $150, the Bluetooth-enabled SmartWatch retrieves text messages, emails, and Facebook and Twitter updates from most Android (2.1 and above) smartphones, Sony says.
The primary benefit of the SmartWatch is being able to access smartphone information without having to remove the phone from a pocket or bag.
Measuring 0.3 inches thick and featuring a 1.3-inch OLED touchscreen, the square-shaped SmartWatch resembles Apple's 6th-generation iPad Nano, which can also function as a watch--albeit one that's large and a bit clumsy to operate, at least in my experience.
The SmartWatch vibrates and posts screen alerts to notify you of new events. It comes with a black rubber wristband; additional wristbands are available in five colors at $20 each. The watch also has a rear-mounted clip for attaching the device to a belt or clothing.

Sony says the SmartWatch is compatible with Android apps for music, social updates, and workouts that are compatible with the device's 1.3-inch touchscreen, such as TicTacToe, and Sony's own music player. The company hopes developers will write more SmartWatch-specific apps.

Leaked Sony Xperia U Screenshots — A mid-range phone

We all are familiar with the beautiful Xperia S which was launched by Sony recently as their new flagship device, and I have to admit that it's one of the most beautiful devices of 2012. An Italian blog known as Android HD blog discovered some leaked images of Xperia U, which is actually a smaller version of the Xperia S. As you can see the image above, the phone is small in design, probably featuring 3.2 inches display, and it's running Gingerbread like the elder brother. But as you can see that the Xperia U is using Sony Ericsson branding, and we all know that it isn't "Sony Ericsson" anymore, it's only Sony now. Well, this might be the tester version and I am sure the final version will be with Sony's branding. Right now, no words on the specs of the phone but you can expect a dual-core processor, I prefer waiting for official words from Sony or maybe we will see this little guy at MWC
