It's easy to get confused by the variety of 7-inchers coming out of Samsung's gate; you might even speculate that the category is getting a bit crowded. But with the arrival of the Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), it appears the popular Android manufacturer has an ace in its sleeve. The slate leaps past its cousins with the latest build of Ice Cream Sandwich out of the gate, although it still reps the same 1024 x 600 PLS TFT display, 3MP rear camera, 4,000mAh battery and dual-core setup. We had a chance to get a real feel for the tablet, so join us after the break as we parse through our initial impressions.Read more>>

Visualized: Nokia's 41-megapixel PureView sensor
If you thought a bigger pixel count just meant bigger file sizes, then take a look above. That big guy at the bottom is the 41-megapixel sensor responsible for those awesome Nokia 808 PureView shots we saw at MWC on Monday. The two above it are 8- and 5-megapixel sensors respectively, and give you an idea of the real-estate cost of packing a superior snapper. At two and a half times the physical size of the N8's prized optics, we think the PureView system earns its title as the biggest thing in mobile imaging somewhat convincingly.

The secret behind Nokia's 41-megapixel camera phone
When Nokia announced the 41-megapixel 808 PureView smartphone at MWC 2012, CNET's associate editor Lynn La said "it is a phone that has so many megapixels, its megapixels have megapixels." That, it turns out, was a pretty accurate statement.
But, before I get into what that all means, judging by comments I've read there seems to be some confusion about the largeness of the sensor. The 808's image sensor is not only larger in resolution, but physical size. It's larger than the ones in most--if not all--current smartphones

HP to launch Windows 8 tablet in 2012
Hewlett-Packard Co Chief Executive Officer Meg Whitman said the company will release a tablet computer based on Microsoft Corp's new version of its Windows software before the end of the year.
Speaking at a Wall Street Journal conference in Menlo Park, California, Whitman said the initial tablet will be based on Intel Corp's technology. It's "not clear" when Windows 8, the update to Microsoft's operating system, will be released for devices running chips based on ARM Holdings Plc technology, she said. Microsoft hasn't given an official release date for Windows 8.
Whitman also said Hewlett-Packard is investing in developing talented executives, focusing on organic growth, and getting back to "The HP Way," company's original principles.
The next CEO is likely to come from within Hewlett-Packard, Whitman said.
"I will not feel like I've done a good job if my successor is not an internal choice," Whitman said.
Hewlett-Packard hired from inside its walls until 1999, when it recruited Carly Fiorina from Lucent Technologies. All three succeeding CEOs, Mark Hurd, Leo Apotheker and Whitman herself, were also outside hires.

Leaked Samsung Galaxy B with edge-to-edge screen rumored
Rumours are circulating that Samsung's planning a smart phone with a edge-to-edge screen, dubbed the Samsung Galaxy B.
Sammyhub spotted a report from the Korean language Maeil Business newspaper that hints that the company has been beavering away on a nearly bezel-free device.
Peering through the dense fog of Google Translate, it would appear that Samsung has been working on the phone for a while already, and that it'll feature a screen that leaves only the top of the phone's front display-free.
The screen looks to be of the AMOLED variety favoured by Samsung, and more details could emerge in the second or third quarter of the year. If you're not particularly fond of fractions, that means between April and September.
Take all that with a mugful of salt though -- it's impossible to know how credible that report is. But a Galaxy phone with a classy bezel-free display is certainly a tempting proposition.
While it's little indication of the company's plans, Samsung has shown form before when it comes to bezel-shrinking -- last year's D7000 telly had the whole office weeping with how gorgeously slim the sliver surrounding the screen was.
Edge-to-edge screen tech was one of the features rumoured to be appearing on the iPhone 5, though of course the iPhone 5 never materialised and we were left with the iPhone 4S. A decent phone in its own right, but not a huge step up from the previous model.
With the next iPhone supposedly not making an appearance until the autumn, it's possible that Samsung could beat Apple to the punch with its own edge-to-edge tech -- if the Galaxy B proves to be real, of course.
The Galaxy B could even be the much-anticipated Samsung Galaxy S3, which we know will be unveiled in the first half of this year. Last month a mystery phone (pictured above) popped up in a Samsung promotional video sporting a very thin bezel, but is it a new device or just some Photoshop work on the part of a video editing bod?

How to reset Nokia Lock Code without any software
There have been several tutorials and questions on internet that shows how to reset the security locking code of your Nokia Symbian Phones. But honestly speaking, non of the tutorial works. Because, most of them keeps talking about Master Code security code which really does not work in every phone.
The technique behind Master code is that, every phone has unique International Mobile Equipment Identity (IMEI) number and with the help of this number, a specific software will calculate your so called master code. This might work in some phone but not always. Because how can you be so sure about that the Master Code generated is the correct one? If it has been the straight right security code then there won’t be any use of security code. Because, Lock codes and master codes are meant for security purpose in case if it’s stolen or lost some where.
Therefore this might not be much practical. The good thing you can do is, contact the authorized service center to have your code reseted. If you don’t want to do that then still you have a choice left. That is, you’ll have to hack the phone. Don’t worry with the term ‘hack’ we’ll do nothing like hacking.
We’ll use a backdoor to reset the security code. This might be illegal, but can be helpful if you badly need it. Here is how you do it.
First of all download the security code hack patch from here. Once you have downloaded it extract it with your favorite unzipper. Now reate a new folder ‘Recogs‘ in your desktop.
New Recogs folder in desktop |
Once it has been created, copy the THC-NOKIA-UNLOCK.MDLfile from the extracted file toRecogs folder.
Drag or copy the file to Recogs folder |
Now take out the memory card from your Nokia phone and plug it in to you card reader and open it from my computer.
Open your card from my computer |
Once you open go to System folder. If it is not there then don’t worry it is hidden folder. To go to System folder, type ‘system‘ next to your card location as shown in the image below (in this tutorial the drive letter for the memory card is H:).
Type-in system to go to system folder |
Instantly you’ll be inside system folder.
The System folder |
Once you are inside the system folder copy the Recogs folder from desktop to the system.
Recogs folder being copied to system folder |
Finally when it’s copied, eject your memory card and insert it to your phone which you want to unlock. Once you insert the memory card, it will automatically start the unclocker file and resets the Locking code.
Once it succesfully resets your Locking code, it will prompt a message on white screen with, ‘Press a Key’. Press any key and your code is rested to 12345. Now you can change it any time.
Thats it, you are done. No need of any electronic device, no need of any data cards no need of any complicated and insecure software and the phone is yours again.
